Scheduled to open in September 2017, an ambitious exploration of Latin American and Latino art called Pacific Standard Time: LA/LA will present 46 exhibitions and events from San Diego to Santa Barbara.
This event will include some of Jose Dávila’s sculptural installations, photographs, drawings, and models. The exhibition will also include a public and interactive sculpture which will consist in a 20-square-foot grid made out of modular components, installed at West Hollywood Park, but that will be dismantled and reconfigured at other sites across Los Angeles during the exhibition, taking on different functional shapes. Dávila’s intervention will reveal the artist’s interest in urbanism and social interaction.
